Coach Rich Carnation’s Windsor High School Wrestling Team hosted the 11th Annual ” King of the Mat” Wrestling tournament on Sat. Jan 16th.  With 32 High Schools from Northern California and Nevada bringing over 320 Wrestlers it was considerably larger than the  past two years.

Windsor’s has become one of the larger and best run tournaments in Northern California.  To get to that point it takes alot of parent participation from the Wrestling Parents and Boosters alike.  The Head Table this year managed and processed over 800 matches in 8 hours setting up finals before 5:30 p.m., David Kahn ran a huge concession stand complete with BBQ Tri-Tip, Burgers, Dogs, Deli Sandwich’s Caesar Salads, and  the other sundries, the Wrestling Mom’s put together an awesome Coaches and Officials Luncheon adj. to the main gym.

The Windsor Wrestling Team and the Boosters would like to thank Head Table staff of , Nora Smith, Maureen Edgar, Sean Baker, Mathais Toupin, and Dennis Whitmire.  Maureen Edgars Cheerleaders worked the day as scorekeepers and timers, David Kahn had his wife Sherri, Heather Bolger, Jeff and Lori Harkey, Steve Delucci and others rotating in keeping the food going.

An all day event that was executed to perfection, thank you so much Windsor Parents, Boosters and Volunteers.  A fabulous team effort.

Congratulations from the WHS Boosters to Windsor Oaks instructor Neil Smart and to Windsor High’s Drama Instructor Julie Raven on their Engagement New Years Eve!  We are delighted that they chose the Club Midnight Bash to celebrate their engagement and we wish them both all the best in their upcoming Marriage.

B-124; adj. to that Spirit Wear will also be available on Friday also.  Beat the lines Saturday Night by getting spirit gear and tickets in advance.  NCS Adult tickets are $9.00 ea.  Students $6 .

JV FOOTBALL ENDS THEIR SEASON UNDEFEATED AND 3-PEAT SCL CHAMPIONS.  COACH DUSTIN DAVIS JUST COMPLETED HIS THIRD UNBEATEN YEAR, THE WHS BOOSTERS SALUTES DUSTIN, HIS STAFF AND ALL THE PLAYERS.  WAY TO GO JAGS!

Windsor Boys Varsity Soccer Team will be hosting the first round of North Coast Section Division 1 Playoff’s.  Let’s all get out there tonight and make some noise for our Boys.
